As a leader in recovering protected code from programmable devices using advanced tools such as the scanning electron microscope (SEM) allowing us to identify the security features embedded in integrated circuit die.  The bright objects in the upper center and right side of the photo are the wires that bring signals to and from the chip.

Below is a micrograph showing a single transistor on an integrated circuit showing the base emitter ans collector.  To unlock the programming from microcontrollers and other programmable devices, we can isolate the security hardware by selectively cutting individual conductors on the chip.
